GDPR and Privacy

“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR” means the European Union regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, as amended from time to time.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (as defined in GDPR).

In the event and to the extent that Personal Data is collected from the Customer, Customer’s employees or representatives, and processed or used by Detalo Health during and/or for the supply of the Products and Services, Detalo Health will comply with the GDPR and the relevant Detalo Health privacy notice will apply to Customer’s employees and/or representative accessing any of the Detalo Health portals, web sites, applications and/or digital services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Information you provide to us

You may provide us with information in several ways, including by filling in forms on our websites or by corresponding with us by phone or email. This includes information you provide when you register for an account, request a quote, enter into a contract for the supply of products, or report problems to our technical team.

The personal information that you provide may include your name, address, email address, phone number, financial information and other information about you to enable us to run our business and provide you the relevant service.

For some products, you may need to provide us with certain special category data to allow us to provide you with quotes. This includes information about your current procedures, laboratory equipment and prior experiences. When you provide this information to us we will treat that as confidential information and will store it properly in our company archives.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Device Metrics & Analytics

The Product will transmit data from its software to the Seller’s central server. The data transmitted contains information on the functioning of the machine, including but not limited to the status of the valves of the Product, pressure, temperature and CO level measurements as well as anonymized data on the measurements.  All data will be registered with the Product serial number in case the Product needs to be serviced but does not constitute a warranty in any way.

We do this to monitor the performance and potentially identify the required need of maintenance. Ultimately, we see this as an important part of patient safety and will require devices to be connected on an ongoing basis.
